World Cyber Games was put on hold while the officials checked for underage players.
As we reported earlier, World Cyber Games was put on hold. The German police was tipped that underage players should be playing at World Cyber Games. Due to German law, you have to be 16 years to be playing certain games. In the last update we wrote that no players had be found guilty, but after WCG officials checked several attendees lists and passports, it was found that a player underage had been participating in the Counter-Strike tournament.
The underage player was not in the ranks of the remaining participants when lists and passports got checked through. The name of the underage player has not been release, but WCG officials stated that the Counter-Strike tournament did have an underage player and no further actions have been announced.
